Coscof expectorant linctus 100ml contains chlorpheniramine 2mg, sodium citrate 44mg, pseudoephedrine 30mg and codeine phosphate bp 6mg. Coscof expectorant is a cough suppressant used in the symptomatic relief of unproductive cough associated with colds. the combined antihistamine effect of chlorphenamine and bronchodilator pseudoephedrine relieve irritation and congestion. the antitussive effect of codeine helps relief the discomfort or nuisance of frequent unproductive cough.Dosage adults and children over 12years: 10ml three to four times daily.Children 6-12years: one 5ml spoonful the dose may be repeated after four hours if required, but not more than 4 doses in any 24 hours.Children 2-6years: 2.5ml four times dailyTreatment should not exceed 3 days.Sold only under a valid doctor’s prescription.
