Surgical spirit contains methyl salicylate 0.5% v/v as the active ingredient.\nIt also contains diethyl phthalate BP, castor oil and industrial methylated spirit BP.\n\nTherapeutic indications\n\nThe spirit is applied to the surface of the skin for use as a cleansing agent and it also has antiseptic properties.\nUsed for skin preparation before injection.\nTo prevent bed sores and for hardening the skin of the feet.\nUsage\n\nTopical application.\n\nApply directly to the skin with cotton wool.\n\nRecommended Dose and Dosage Schedule\n\nThe product is suitable for use by adults, children and the elderly.
